Friends are wonderful!!

We've lived in NW Arkansas for just about four years now and we've made more friends then we can count (on our fingers and toes). The folks from church have really demonstrated their willingness to serve us whenever we need them. It's more then just service, we feel real friendship. We've experienced this friendship at it's finest. And the phrases that fit best are Christlike love, Christlike service, Christian fellowship, etc, etc. Sniff, sniff, sign.... okay done with the mushy stuff.
So, we've had a series of windy storms lately and as a result of these storms our tree in the front yard fell over one night. It wasn't a big tree but it needed to be cut up and hauled away as well a
s the stump removed. I asked my home teacher about it one day and the following week we had a group of men over with their axes, shovels, and muscles to work on our tree. At the end of their turmoil they put a chain around the stump and hauled it out with a truck. It was all very cool for the kids to watch from the living room window. It was our entertainment for that evening. So many thanks for the wonderful folks that have made our little family feel at home here in this strange land called Arkansas when we're so far away from normal people and family.
